“If it isn’t possible then it has to become possible. It’s no life at all if you’re no longer able to imagine any changes nor want any.” -Kings of the Road (1976), dir. Wim Wenders

Happy birthday, Sade!

Recently watched her live concert movie for her fifth album Bring Me Home on YouTube. Stunned by her voice, her beauty, and elegance. Impossible not to be in love with this woman! Happy birthday to the one and only, Sade!

Daisy

I believe she's one of the angels sent to both me and my mother here on earth.

This is our dog, Daisy. She's a chihuahua. I named her after the song Daisy Jane by America, and (of course) the flower. It was her birthday two days ago and that made me want to write a little something that describes her significance in my life.

During a time that I was deep in my depression and had no appetite at all, she would mimic that and wouldn't eat as well even if her bowl is filled with her favorite pellet food. She usually always gets to eat first in the morning before I could even cook and eat my own breakfast. It breaks my heart knowing that my dog wouldn't eat. And I cannot be both depressed and a bad dog owner. One time that I finally decided to eat because I was shaking from starvation, and when I got out of my room, the food from her bowl is also gone. I immediately realized.

From then on, I forced myself to eat even if I didn't really feel like it, just so that she would eat and not starve like me. Sometimes I made sure that we eat at the same time so I could see that she is also eating and not calling the fairy dogs to eat her food for her when I am not looking.

Lately she's not liking her dog food that much now. My mother and I decided to try feeding her some steamed vegetables instead and she surprisingly like them better (we could tell because she wags her tail and spin a lot at the sight of a chopsticked vegetable).

Maybe it's also time that we eat more vegetables...

This is a photobook (which is more of a storybook) by my favorite film director, Wim Wenders.

If you ask me what my favorite was in the book, it was when he forgot to bring his camera...
